FLOCO Certified Requirements for Established Contractors
Not every contractor becomes FLOCO Certified. Our program is designed for established businesses that demonstrate quality workmanship, strong customer relationships, and a commitment to doing the job right.
We carefully select the companies that represent FLOCO Certified because the reputation behind our name matters.
Our Reputation Is Built on the Companies Behind It
FLOCO Certified is more than a name or badge. It represents an approach to craftsmanship, professionalism, and customer service.
Every approved specialist continues operating their own independent business while representing the FLOCO Certified identity in their market.
That's why we look beyond installation experience when reviewing applications.
We want to work with businesses that care about the details, stand behind their work, and take customer relationships seriously.
The goal isn't to certify as many contractors as possible. It's to build a network of companies that share the same commitment to quality.
Not everyone qualifies. That's the point.

What It Takes to Become FLOCO Certified
We're looking for established contractors with a proven commitment to quality, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.
Our application review considers six important areas.
-
Requirement 01 · Customer Rating
A Strong Record of Customer Satisfaction
FLOCO looks for businesses with a customer rating of 4.8 stars or higher.
A strong customer rating helps demonstrate consistency, professionalism, and the ability to deliver a positive customer experience.
-
Requirement 02 · Established Business
An Established Contracting Business
FLOCO Certified is designed for businesses with existing operations and experience serving customers.
We're looking for companies that already understand the responsibilities of managing projects, delivering quality work, and maintaining professional customer relationships.
-
Requirement 03 · Licensed & Insured
Proper Business Licensing and Insurance
Applicants are expected to hold the appropriate licensing and insurance for their business operations.
These are important parts of operating professionally and responsibly.
-
Requirement 04 · Strong Reputation
A Business Customers Can Trust
We look for companies that have built positive reputations through their work, professionalism, and customer relationships.
Your reputation matters because it reflects how you represent both your business and the FLOCO Certified identity.
-
Requirement 05 · Detail-Oriented Crew
A Team That Takes Pride in Craftsmanship
Rubber surfacing requires attention to preparation, finishing, and installation details.
We look for contractors and teams that take pride in their workmanship and understand the importance of delivering consistent, professional results.
-
Requirement 06 · Customer-First Approach
A Commitment to Customer Service
We want FLOCO Certified Specialists who care about the experience they provide to homeowners and customers.
Clear communication, professionalism, and a commitment to quality are important parts of representing the FLOCO Certified name.
Every Application Is Personally Reviewed
We take the time to learn about every company interested in becoming FLOCO Certified.
Our review focuses on the business you've built, your reputation, the quality of your work, and whether your values align with the FLOCO Certified program.
If your application is a potential fit, the next step is a conversation with our team.
The interview allows both sides to learn more about the opportunity and determine whether moving forward makes sense.
Learn How Certification Works-
Your Business
We want to understand your company's experience, operations, and professional reputation.
-
Your Craftsmanship
We're interested in the quality of your work and the attention your team gives to important details.
-
Your Character
We value professionalism, integrity, and a genuine commitment to customers.
Certification Is Earned. And It Must Be Maintained.
Becoming FLOCO Certified means being trusted to represent the program and its standards in your approved market.
That trust comes with an ongoing responsibility to maintain the craftsmanship, professionalism, and customer service associated with the FLOCO Certified name.
Our goal is to build a network of specialists who take that responsibility seriously.
Certification is not an automatic or permanent entitlement. FLOCO reserves the ability to maintain its standards for participation in the program.
One Certified Specialist Per Approved Market
FLOCO Certified is intentionally selective.
We work with one approved contractor per designated territory, giving each specialist the opportunity to represent FLOCO Certified in their local market.
Your business remains independent, operating under its own name while carrying the FLOCO Certified designation.
Our focus is on choosing the right companies to represent the brand, rather than building the largest possible network.
- One approved company per territory
- Independent business ownership
- Selective certification
- Commitment to maintaining brand standards
